I typically download your weekly Shuirim to listen on my commute to/from work. (Haven’t missed a week) I just wanted to tell you how fortunate I feel to have been part of the audience last night. It was a very inspirational evening, and one that helped me move closer in getting ready for Rosh Hashanah!

i love your class on midrash yalkut shimoni tehillum 25. i just heard the first hour so far.

when we were in prague in elul 2 years ago, for the maharal's yartzeit, reb yitzchak taught the first chapters of netiv hatshuva. and the first chapter is based on this medrash. the maharal gives a moshel to explain it. your class complements it nicely.

I very-very enjoyed today, 09/15/09, laughed and cried, all together. I would like to get a copy of this video. Is it possible?

Thank you so much for once again bringing your Chassidus to the Mainline. Each morning since hearing your talk, I "hear" the history of our people in the sound of the Shofar. May we experience the Geulah and Mashiach in the Sound of the Final Tekiah Gedolah.

I had asked you about the Rebbe Zvi Hirsh Meisels because my Grandfather's Rebbe back in Ujhyel, Hungary was Eluzar Meisels. He survived Auschwitz but his entire family (wife and children) did not. His son (from the second marriage), Moshe Zev is the current Ujhyeler and is in Monsey. Each Motzai Shabbos of the first Slichos, I make my way to Monsey from Philly to say slichos with him. We then "fahrbreng" (just he and I) until morning. So, the day before you spoke, I had spent from 2AM til 5AM with him. I was still riding that high when you told the story of Zvi Hirsch.

I asked him about Zvi Hirsh. Zvi Hirsh is his uncle and Zalman Leib is his cousin. They were together with Eluzar in Auschwitz.

Ruv Meisels also sent me a copy of the memoirs of his uncle which tell the story of the 100 tekios. I will forward these to you when I finish this.

Again, thank you for your words of chizuk, I will hear the shofar so much more richly as well as know how much Hashem wants my teshuvah (I may just be less hard on myself thanks to you!!).

I need to tell you, I i-poded the farbrengan from last night… and I am very very nispoel. It was excellent… the 4 madreigos… chochma, nevuah, torah and HaK’BH… moredik, funny, deep informative etc. You should have someone transcribe it… poshut fantastic…

It is great schora for a long strech … like during musaf on YK.. when usually only the hard core are there anyway… and they can get it…

I like how the approach of HaK’BH is not a stira to the other levels, I like how (though I’ve never heard it before) there is no such thing REALLY as a sin in the eyes of Hashem, only opportunities… at the end of the day a sin is still a sin… but the way you described how GD is only an image that we painted him into is a very nice gedaink…
what does it mean it is not a sin?
thaty since He is the owner of the will, so for Him the sin has G-d too?
