sound problem
First of all Rabbi Jacobson is terrific, kol hakavod.
The sound while Rabbi Jacobson is speaking is fine, but during the clip of the Rebbe it was terrible -- impossible to understand him -- and it's also very bad in the music that is now playing.
the clip
the clip is from the 20th of Av in the early 70's either 70, 71 or 72.
change to lower res - the sound it much clearer
the sound is great!!!! much improved. thnks for the beautiful event.
Sound
Choose HIGH above screen for better quality...it is not the default setting.
Incredible
The message of the True Torah when said from the heart is taken to heart. No thank you's can thank enough Rabbi Jacobson who has an incredible gift of delivering this Holy information is away that can be swallowed and which penetrates to the core.
Moshiach NOW! May all who need a refua have a complete and speedy one!
Very inspiring even at 4:10 am in Jerusalem
BH
Yasher koach. Keep up the great world of creating a global community.
sound
the sound is "clipping". this means it is too loud in the room, or a volume control on the input to the web broadcast is too high (or both).

A wire got disconnected, and we are back on now. We greatly apologize for the interruption.
music
is this on purpose ? It's disturbing - tone it down....please.
Admin
If you get the buffering symbol, don't touch anything, it will go back on by itself where it left off.
It has an echo!
what did Rabbi AKivah say?
great as always!
yashar koach!
L'chaim
So beautiful. Thank you for the inspiring farbrengen.
Excellent
Thank you for this inspiring Fabrengan.
location
where is the broadcast from? which shul in boca? and how many people are in attnedance?
Tanya
I think that is one of the most touching stories of The Rebbe's concern for his 'children'. Rabbi Jacobson, you certainly bring us the closest to The Rebbe in the audio; almost as close as a 'letter in the Tanya'. Thank you so very much.
Good Food in laval, Qc
send some food over here pls!!!!
This is truly inspiring
Thank you so much for putting this live on the internet. This is truly inspiring and enriching, not to mention fun too!
I understand so much more now what a Rebbe is and why so many are so inspired and positively effected by the Rebbe.
Thank you!
please fix the sound. the music sounds horrible.

Awesome song
Love the folk music by Rabbi Ruvi New!
Lubavitch 60 years later
The rebbe was against making events without a mechitza! He didn't just say it for himself! if should be in all chabad houses and lubavitch shuls! i have to say a nice shilichus event but not for the regular anash!
stopped in the middle
unacceptable
Thank You
Thank you to all those involved.

To What did Rabbi Akiva say?
Hasmeichim Byisurim Olava Hakosuv Omeir....
The ones who accept pain and suffering (which was what his teacher was going through) has the greatest reward...
To this comment he answered Akiva Nichamtoni Akiva Nichamtoni. Some say it was because the other comments referred to his past accomplishments. However great they were they were the past. Akiva's related to the present pain and suffering ordeal that he was going through. He spoke how his teacher had a purpose even in the most excruciating present.
keep up the good work!
Thank you for the great farbrengen!
It is an amazing source of inspiration and warmth that the Rebbe stands for that I will try to pass on to my environment!
Espacially through your internet broadcast you are reaching out to jews far away from a ChaBad community and enabling them to celebrate with you the LIFE!
Toda Raba
Great feast for nourishing our heart, warming our soul and tutoring our live skills!
Correction To What did Rabbi Akiva say?
The exact loshon (language) of Rabbi Akiva: "Chavivin Yisurim" Those who rejoice in pain (merit a great reward).
His teacher, Rabbi Eliezer responded "Samchuni V’Eshmeah" Assist me in getting up to listen to Rabbi Akiva's words.

amazing
Thank you for this beautiful broadcast and for all the work necessary to deceminate it to the general public. Rabbi Yossi Jacobson was so inspiring and left a lasting and penetrating message for all to reflect upon. It was also a brilliant idea to broadcast from a dinner/fabrengen with so many people attending live. Yashur Koach and may you continue this as a tradition in the future.
Hard copy???
The farbrengen was amazing! Thank you (even with the occasionally distorted sound). Will there be a "hard copy" posted? How about sources? An MP3 version? Thanks again.

Baruch HaShem
Todah Ravah for the fabringen commemorating Yud Shevat.
I am Japanese, live in Tokyo, I am a convert-wanna-be,
my life was saved by Chabad Japan, Mispachat Sudakevich.
I enjoy your lectures very much.
I will start studying Torah with your class on Monday.
I look forward to your new program, 5 minute weekly message, too.
I am so delighted.
One question, whom is your shul, Beis Shmuel, named after?
Shalom,
Kayo
great
Dear Rabbi Jacobson:
Thank you for the wonderful presentation this evening at Rabbi Denberg's shul.
It was just terrific.

Music and Choir
I just wanted to comment on the wonderful sound of the Choir and the Music by Ari Cattan of KOLOT MUSIC & ORCHESTRA.
As a live attendee during the event, The music and songs were spiritually uplifting and preformed in a classy hartzig fashion that left me smiling and inspired.
Thank you very much to everyone that Yasher Koach.
rabbi jacobson be more careful with the words you use
bh
at the beginning of your talk you told the story of acher
and used the word "prostitute" and the "use of her services"
your presentation is on line and your audience could include many young bochurim who are in yeshivas. as a matter of fact i sent a link to my young son who is a bochur before i even saw the farbrengen....i regretted for a moment sending it when i heard you be so explicit.
in the future you should allude to these facts without being explicit and whoever understands understand and whoever doesnt doesnt have to.
the rebbe would never be so explicit.....in your public career you must adopt a more subtle approach to these provocative details as your audience expands.
To Moshe G.
I do understand your sensitivity. Nevertheless, I don't agree in this case. Rabbi Jacobson's presentations are broadcast worldwide and the vast majority probably wouldn't understand roundabout language. This unique milieau is not within the realm of a private fabrengen that Rabbi Jacobson would hold in his shul or any place where the audience is of one cut. I find Rabbi Jacobson particularly aidel and refined in circumventing any improper word usage while speaking about these topics to which you refer.
TO MOSHE G.
B''H
YOUR SON DIDN'T LEARN ABOUT ''RACHAV HAZONA''?
WHO SHELTERED THE SPIES?
DO YOU RAISE YOUR CHILD TO LIVE ON A DIFFERENT PLANET THAN OUR EARTHY ONE?
ARE YOU OVER SHELTERING HIM FROM KNOWING, RATHER THAN TEACH HIM HOW TO FACE LIFE'S CHALLANGES? HOW TO BE A ''GIBBOR HAKOVESH ET YITZRO'' ? OVER PROTECTIVNESS PRODUCES WEAK PEOPLE, DEPENDENT ONES, EASY TO BE IMPRESSED AND INFLUENCED.
KNOWLEDGE IS STRENGTH. SUCCEEDING IN FIGHTING THE YETZER,ENGAGING IN THE BEINONI'S ITKAFIYA,BUILDS SELF ESTEEN AND SELF ASSURANCE,THE ABILITY TO INDEPENDENTLY FACE UNWANTED SITUATIONS, WITH CONFIDENCE OF TRIUMPH. ARE YOU GOING TO RUN ARROUND HIM, AND PROTECT HIM CONSTANTLY FROM HEARING AND SEEING ''THINGS''?
DO YOU HAVE THAT KIND OF POWER TO CONTROL HIS ENVIRONMENT CONSTANTLY?
PREPARE HIM FOR LIFE, NOT BY COVERING UP REALITY, BUT BY GIVING HIM TOOLS TO STAND UP TO LIFE'S TEMPTATIONS AND SITUATIONS, TO FACE THEM WITH
GREAT BELIEF IN ALL MIGHTY,IN TRYINGS G-D BRINGS HIS WAY,IN '' HASHGACHA PRATIT''
TO OVERCOME AND GROW.
YOSEF HATZADIK'S CHALLENGE CHALLENGE WITH POTIFARS' WIFE, OR KING DAVIDS SLIP WITH BAT SHEVA, ARE TAKEN OUT OF TOUR SONS' BIBLE?
LOVING YOUR CHILD , DOESN'T ALWAYS MEAN TO PROTECT HIM...
IT IS NOT HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO BE THERE AT ALL TIMES TO SHIELD HIM, AND IT ISN'T HEALTHY FOR HIM. TO DO SO.IT IS MAY BE GOOD FOR THE PARENT'S PEACE OF MIND...BUT NOT TO HIS CHIKDS' BENEFIT.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT.
G-D BLESS YOU
CARMELA, ISRAEL
Sunday Morning Thought
Is it possible to replay the Sunday Morning thought especially since I missed it.
Thanks
COMMENT
For some reason if this was broadcastred through chabad.org they would have arranged that when you played any videos throughout the even it would have integrated in the feed - without having to have the video camera zoom into the large screen, which was very unclear
Is there an MP3 of the Yud Shvat event?
to Rivka
yes right below the video.
