Again, after 40 years, an important question answered! Thank you again for enabling me to straighten out a question that has been bothering me for 40 years: the relationship between keeping Torah and Mitzvos with bittul and having a personal relationship with Hashem. May Hashem continue to shower His brachos on you!

Thank you for another fascinating Maamar of Alter Rebbe. For me alone, it is very difficult to access and understand these precious Maamar. I am so fortunate that I have opportunities to watch your shiurim.

Sovev becomes mmaleye? Line 122 - 123 seems to says sovev becomes actual mmaleye. hows is that possible? After all they r 'rooted' in different sources.

Sovev is a sprinboard for memaleh. Imagine the two concepts as a long distance and close distance relationship... Memaleh being the latter. First tou start off by a text message or a skype call with a friend-making plans e.g: lets play football at the park today (long distance, just making plans to meet). Then when you actually meet at the park, thats the internal, real, tangible and close distance relationship! So we see this too with HaShems relationship with us. It first starts off in a sovev way and only when you "experience" HaShems energy in this sovev way, can HaShem interact and permeate with mmaleh. So sovev is the springboard for memaleh to jump off! And they are sourced in the same places... or ein sof boruch hu... The Or Ein Sof is the same Or, but they differ in amount of power (essence) and implementations... Yes different sefiros are used to implement each differently but thats not a discussion you can have on a forum like this one... Thanks for the beautiful shiur R Paltiel! I love the way you and R YY teach Chassidus!... Are you or Rabbi Jacobson able to teach and explain the Maamer Veyakhel Torah Ohr Vayakhel Moshe? Would much appreciate it and understand it better!

Teruma - trei Maei The Rabbi glossed over the reference to Trumah as Trei Mei (in the end of the Maamer) w/ no explanation, what is the import of "Trei Mei" refering to classical Terumah(Gedolah)?
