At Meeretz Mitzraim, the Koban Pesach had to be roasted not cooked. I learned in Rabbi Jacobson's class why. Now I found another aspect of it. Water unites, fire decomposes, in general. But the unity by fire, gevulah, is much stronger than the unity by water. Jews in Mitzraim had innate love for HaShem. But by Meeretz Mitzraim, HaShem and Jews became One, the Husband and the Wife, through love of gevulah.
