צדק בהערתו,
פליטת הפה נבעה מזה שבמחשבתי הי' לדבר קצת על ר' אליעזר ננס (כי הוא ביקר בביתנו כשהייתי ילד וסיפר לי המון סיפורים שאכ"מ) שהוא עדיין למד אצל הרבי רש"ב, ואח"כ קרה הסיפור שנסע ללנינגראד לאדמו"ר הריי"ץ. ונביעת המוחין ישנה כאן....

We had been taught so many times that, opposite to other religions, in Judaism we do not need a mediator: if you need something go and ask G-d straight.
Is Jewish leader a provider? Priestly blessing may be helpful but Moses is not a Kohan Gadol!
How Rebbe’s dollar brings BRACHOT to a person? Isn’t it just by reconnecting that person to G-d through his or her own personal acts of kindness?

Regarding the fact that Moshe Rabeinu serves as a "mediator" between Hashem and the Jewish people, please see the Posuk in Parshas Voeschanan chapter 5 verse 5 and as elaborated in Likutei sichos Vol. 11 pages 172-3. 184. volume 13 page 49 and many others.

Oooops.... Ok.
The Possuk in Parshas Voeschanan is where Moshe Rabeinu says "onoichi omed Bein Hashem Uveileichem" which literally means "I stand between you (the jewish people) and Hashem". This is explained in numerous places in Chassidus in general and in Likutei Sichos in particular , to mean that Moshe Rabeinu is the "Memuza" (intermediary) between Hashem and the Jewish people.
In those two places in Likutei Sichos is where the Rebbe elaborates on this subject. Volume 11 discusses how the Jews brought the Mishkan to Moshe prior to its buildinfg, and the other one is regarding the Meraglim.

So why have we been taught that In Judaism we do not have mediators? Thank you for an explanation.
On another note, or maybe it is connected: Generally, I do notice that in other sources they discuss actions of Moses and others as mistakes and sins. In Chabad literature it seems, they don't beleive these people really sinned. Is that true? Why this difference?

I am not sure whom you are referring to when you say "we have been taught".... you have to go back to those teachers and they will clarify their position.
I share what I learn in Likutei Sichois and its sources.
Yes, chabad literature sees everything in Torah (and the world at large) in a positive way, as this is the "true" way, in the sense, that if you realise what it says in countless places, and I will just quote the Mishna at the end of Pirkei Avos "Everything that Hashem created is for his honor" - then obviously all "negative" things are really positive.
The more Sichos (and Chassidus) you learn, the more you realize this concept. That is why it is called "Pnimiyus Hatorah".
There is only one solution, and that is - learn a lot!
