I Can Only See My Brother's Face When I See My Own

When I Embrace Myself for Real, I Can Embrace You for Real

1 hr 19 min

Class Summary:

This class, presented to woman, was given on Tuesday Parshas Vayishlach, 12 Kislev 5777; December 13, 2016, at Ohr Chaim Shul, Monsey, NY.

The class explores the fateful encounter between Yaakov and his adversary, and how that explains why Eisav could make peace with his long estranged brother. As it turns out, if I do not learn how to wrestle with myself I need to wrestle with everyone else.

Thank you Rabbi for a powerful, inner psyche perception.

A few weeks ago, in a class titled "the innocent Eisav", i had asked in the comments: why particularly Yaakov was able to acknowledge and embrace Eisavs identity and diversity, by Yaakov masquerading in garb as Eisav to finagle the blessings.

This class can possibly answer my question: Yaakovs mother was planting the seeds in Yaakov for his ultimate personal growth: face the Eisav inside of you to ultimately embrace the potential in another Eisav thats outside of you.

This initial step, ultimately compounded, albeit in great detail and a lengthy period of time, the capability for Yaakov to finally embrace his external brother, after identifying with the inner essence of the Eisav inside of him!

Thank you Rabbi for this lesson, and a lesson in patience, (waiting a few weeks for my answer).!!!
