    והאדמה לא תתן את יבולה

why does it say that the earth will not bring its produce AFTER g-ds wrath burns in you. Logically, according to your argument, when gd wrath burns in you, it should not result in punishements

A God of vengeance or compassion

Wow...such a different interpretation ...yes. many of my friends are troubled by the thought of a punishing and vengeful God but it was difficult for me to present an alternative view ...you, Rabbi Jacobson, just gave us sources to substantiate the view thst HaShem is a God of love...thank you.
