  The search

  Hi Rabbi, Thank you for the wonderful Torah. I can’t help think that it would make sense that they searched for the oil the day BEFORE they lit it. The first day was not the search, it was already lit.

    As soon as they found the oil they lit if they didn't search for the oil there would be no day one.
