I listened to your Yiddish derasha which you delivered in Stamford Hill in which you mention the incident of Yosef and the wife of Potifar and the body of ותתפסהו בבגדו לאמר שכבה עמי, which I’ve heard over from you many times. Subsequently, I listened to the Tuesday night women’s Shiur in which you mention the גמ׳ regarding Hashem offering Yeravam to stroll in Gan Eden if he’d just repent. The לשון הגמרא as cited in the subject line is תפסה ירבעם בבגדו. I was wondering if there was any correlation between the two usages of the term בבגדו?
