    Yosef and Benyomin necking. Jealousy among the brothers

    The neck is not the highest part of the body. The head/brain is. Butbtyevndcknconnects the head with the body and transmits instructions. 

    So too, the Beis Hamigdash isn't the highest. Shomsyim is. But, similarly, the Beis Hamigdash connects the upper heavens with this lowly earth. And transmits instructions (the urim v'tumim)

    When the neck is severed, unlike other limbs, it's over. 

    Yes, the brothers were jealous of Yosef. That jealousy fueled by Yakov when he gave Yosef only a special garment.
