  Hi Rabbi jacobson my name is shimi gorin I live in Miami Beach and I'm 10 years old. I have a big problem when I get frustrated with someone I get physical if it's realy bad and get speak in a tough manner and I get in trouble. I want to know tricks to help me and I thought you could help.

  3) only food and scent which enter our body are obligated to make brochah on here pleasure however there are berochos that we make on the beauty of Hashems world as a shvach like blossoms, the sea and big mountains

  The beni yisoscor writes that one could make a shehakol on a food and have in mind the pleasure that he is going to encounter even though chazal did not obligate him

  Questions from various children

  How does Hashem see us without eyes and how does he live

  why are ladies not obligated  to Daven?

  How do we know what our mission is in the world there is so much torah to learn and so many different mitzvos to do. it can get overwhelming. what should we focus on.

  what do you say to Reopening Anerica? Is it too soon? Some say yes. Some say no. Who are we to believe? I understand the economic perspective, but aren't lives more important?

  Is a draft in isreal for every citizen a good thing? Is this the jewish custom as the jews were soldiers when they went into isreal the first time, 2993 years ago?

  I don't really have a connection with hashem so I stopped davening because I don't see a point to. Can you tell me why its so important to daven.

  Is God just as a woman as he is a man?

  Rabbi Mendel Kessin for 30 years. His material (largely based in Ramchal's teachings) in his"Current Events" shiurim are a nice adjunct to Rabbi YY's extraordinary & beautiful insights. He recently came out boldly to say our current POTUS is a reincarnation of Marcus Aurelius... Just FYI, may be something to look into...?!

  Tefillin - we don't say shehecheyanu because, while it is a great mitzvah, it comes at the cost of a cow's life. Sefirah - shehecheyanu may have originally been recited, but now we don't say shehecheyanu during sefirah time because it's a mourning period. Bracha on music (and other things) - we don't make a bracha on things that are not universally enjoyed.

  The riddle of the water in avodas Hashem.

  Even if it seems like according to nature your situation or mindset can’t change and things are just getting worse and 'colder' in life or ones avodas Hashem. don’t give up hope because when one is so cold-that itself can bring about within them a change that actually makes them float. And ride way above where they ever were before. Through falling so low it brings them to heights, realizations and passions that one may never have been able to achieve before.

  We are learning about Birchas Yaakov. My teacher said that because of what Reuvain did, Yaakov took the b'chora away from him and gave it to Yosef. What did Yosef actually get, since he gave the kehuna to Lavie and the malchus to Yehuda, which should have gone to the B'chor.
