The Rebbi was a person and a Soul of Redemption (גאולה), he dedicated his life to transform the entire globe (Jews / Non Jews) to get to the ultimate Redemption, But this is on a big level, גאולה כללית

But the same was maybe also his vision for every person on a individual level, to help every person transform his personal life with all his suffering to a personal redemption גאולה פרטית,

and that's פשט in the words that he told Eli Weizel, he wants to teach him how to laugh, because that is what redemption is, Redemption is not to stop suffering, its to get to a state where all of life, and the entire world is Love, Joy, Happy, full of spirit, etc. not just a end to suffering,

and the Rebbi who went thru such a challenging childhood, he was able to look past all of the suffering direct into the light that is shining after all of that, so this is a Rebbi who was a personal role model of being able to live in a world and a life of chaos and at the same time hold his eyes open to a light that is shining after all pain.

P.S. Still need help how to implement such a vision for myself and everyone
