Amazing maamar. The Rebbe makes me realize that nothing about myself or my existence needs to ever be repressed, ignored or thrown into the waste basket. It’s important to cherish and embrace with love and compassion every aspect of myself. Every emotion, every thought and every experience. They can always teach me something new about myself. They can bring into my life more awareness and more truth. Being able to be present to all of those experiences are the keys to real freedom. It’s about entering Yericho, finding the courage to turn that key and open that door. That door that perhaps many of us kept shut for so long. We locked ourselves away from experiencing fully our inner world, we wanted to stay safe and protected, perhaps even in the name of holiness. Away from parts of ourselves we didn’t want to acknowledge or own.The Rebbe is teaching us that we never become enslaved by any of our inner experiences. We never lose the ability to be free without our permission! The ultimate freedom is to realize that we have the ability to remain the chooser of our destiny at all times.
It doesn’t  matter whether our inner experiences are positive or negative. If we can have the perspective that all of our inner experiences can be springboards towards a greater and richer life then we will not become so discouraged and hopeless by the various experiences that pass through us at any given moment. We will no longer need to automatically identify with them, we will be able to step back and focus on the message, the awareness or the lesson that are there for us to take into our new moment of now.

You said that we need to enter into our inner (Jericho)world and scrutinized it and become aware of our inner workings...
I understood why it’s so important. People are afraid to confront their inner world believing that: if I acknowledge all my ghosts and skeleton I will give them power. The opposite is true. The more we try to ignore them and suppress the more our life is controlled by them. Only when we confront them we have an opportunity to liberate ourselves from them.

We know that water evaporates and rises upwards ( The gemara in Taanis 9b mentions this as well:

    and rashi explains

This represents the idea brought here that the waters below have a desire to rise above, however, this is only accomplished through bitul

When we practice this balance of chesed and gevurah then we can be zoche to the gishmey bracha (rain) which is the revelation of Giluy Elokus in this world.

Perhaps that is why korach was punished with a 'new creation' to punish him. midah keneged midah he wanted to bring a new world in not the proper time, so a new creation was made to take him away. But the bney korach still remain underneath awaiting there time to come back in the future.

    Question for Rabbi YY

Regarding the question: "which is greater, which is the real purpose, the lower worlds or the higher?", wasn't this question settled already before Korach with Esav and Yakov, and Nadav and Avihu?
