    Question for Rabbi YY

Chapter 7 - Mitzvah to Listen to a Prophet: Does this 1 positive Commandment include both individuals? Meaning listening to a real prophet (which we don't have any ,ore for the last 2000 years, as well as listening to an Tzadik/Adom Gadol (which is still relevant today).. Are these 2 the same Mitzvah Aseh?

    Other neviim?

Tannoim, Amaroim, R. Yehuda genesis, R. Akiva, the Rambam himself, the Rashbi, the Arial, the Baal Shem tov, our Rebbeim, parents naming a  newborn, etc., are NOT at least partial or lower neviim?

Even Prophets that were talking about the churban and other sad events needed to be in the state of simcha. What can we learn from this?

    Prophets

Being happy, joyful and in a positive state of mind is so so important for all of us. And it becomes even more meaningful when realizing what the prophets need to experience and feel.

Dedicated with love by Sara Metzger & Isaac Shepherd, in honor of the 70th Wedding anniversary of her parents and his grandparents, Imek (Chaim) and Pola (Pneena) Metzger, July 25, 2020. Mom survived the Holocaust; dad survived as a Russian political prisoner. They found each other after the war, moved to Israel, and started a new life together. May they have many more cherished years together.
