    special

    To Rabbi Jacobson SHLITTA.

First of all I would like to thank you again for your amazing, breathtaking, deep and informative shiurim.

I would like to share a Hashgocho Protis story with you.

Last night - at about 2..a.m.  I listened to the above shiur.  As a woman, it is not a subject I would choose, and certainly not in the middle of the night.  However, this time I was inexplicably pulled to listen.  Why?  Suddenly the reason hit me - I realised that I was listening to the shiur on  the Yahrzeit of my Father Z.L. who spent the six war years in Siberia where he was very makpid to bury the niftorim - a daunting task in Siberia.

Thank you once again for all you offer to Klal Yisroel.

If the psak was to deduct $25M from the father's assets before he was nifter

Shouldn't then the yerusha have been the other $25M to be split 50-50?

the other brother was not interested or obligated to give his father a Jewish burial. Civilly, he could not be compelled to do so.

yes, but the psak could have compelled the father or the father's estate via the executor to pay the $25M, not the frei son, thereby leaving an estate of $25M to be split.

the brother was a greedy person. why are you trying to justify his actions? The 25M didn't exist in the frum Jew's pocket before the death. It's providence that he has the wherewithal to bury his father properly and he can get back to learning. No tears should be shed for the money. In the grand scheme of things, it's the equivalent of 25 pennies.

I once heard from the Rebbe (Shabboa Vayechi or Shemos 5751) that they were like a Karban Olah, which is consumed completely by the flames, it goes up "in its entirety" to Hashem.

So they need not be buried to have techiyas hamesim, as they were on the deepest and holiest level.
