Those of us on the site missed most of the class until we tried zoom. Question:
It seems from the last few minutes I caught that the Maggid was saying to go out and spread the word. Don't be affected.
But, all the chasidic groups came from the Baal Shem Tov yet, to be honest, only one really took the message to go out and spread the word seriously. And even then it was only on the latter years.
And that group was first mocked until, as the expression goes, imitation became the most sincere form of flattery.
Just note the battle for public menorah years ago.
Still most of the current imitators are litvish, not at all students of chasdidus. The other chasidic groups, descendents of the Besht and the Maggid, still keep their distance from non frum yidden (how much moreso nonjews who are told by spreaders of the Maggid's message, about the Sheva mitzvahs) and still maintain their huge walls, more effective than the one with Mexico.

Splitting the angels, splitting the Torah
So Yakov only sent a part of the duality (body, whatever that is for an angel, and soul) of the angels to Esav.
When Moshe ascended to get the Torah, the melochim argued that it belongs with them. Moshe win that argument and descended with the Torah.
But, if in later generations, the Rashbi, the Arizal, the Baal Shem Tov and all possesses of nister throughout the generations, successively revealed the esoteric hidden parts of Torah, then it would appear that Moshe didn't get it all back then. He couldn't even understand R.Akiva's class though the material was hidden on the selfsame Torah he brought down.
So, it appears that just as Yakov was able to split off parts or layers of the melochim he sent, the Torah itself had been previously similarly split between the innermost parts and outer parts.
