  The story about the Bal Shem Tov's Sukkah with that note has a very deep meaning for me, whats the source for the story?

  I heard the rav say over the אריזל how the סוכה is the יד of Hashem and he hugs us. Interestingly enough I heard a נקודה from R Wachsman and I’m elaborating based on how I understood it, that all the דינים of a סוכה, for example,לבוד,גוד אסיק or דופן עקומה, the סיבה why they are considered a wall even though they are physically missing is because a person has to believe באמונה that Hashem is watching over him and it’s as if there are 4 walls. Even if you only have 3 walls because of the אריזל it’s as if your surrounded on all 4 sides protected. I can say personally that sometimes I went through such difficult times the only thing that comforted me was that my mother or father hugged me, specifically a hug not anything else. 

  P.S I heard the story about the rebbe and the letter on ערב יום כפור , unbelievable what the דברי יואל said mamish!!
