Why is having the opinion that the כוכבים ומזלות are כגרזן ביד החוצב, have to do with *פקחות* more then the opinion of believing that the כו"מ are a ממוצע, and have there own choice.
It's more like an idea of believe, not פקחות.

See Likkutei Sichos vol. 15 Parshas Noach hoe science is bringing us closer to the truth of "Achadus." The Pikchus is to see beneath the veneer of the universe and discover the oneness, similar to science getting closer and closer to uncovering the DNA of the universe and finding the spiritual oneness. It takes profound wisdom to see the truth, behind all the vails, this requires not only emunah, but real sechel.
(Yet for the sechel to be truly objective we need emunah, as we will explain in chapter 6 of the maamar).

We don't thank the hammer, but we DO thank the waiter. The waiter has free choice, the hammer didn't. But, even if the inanimate hammer doesn't have free choice, we still say that inanimate objects have feelings and thoughts. We cover the challa when making kiddush on wine cuz the challah might be "jealous". We don't tear off a leaf, or step on a stone needlessly cuz they have a Divine purpose and are not needless.

The Rebbe goes thru the medresh about the historical development of Avodah Zora. how it came to be when the earliest people knew Hashem alone. BUT, doesn't the Rambam also go thru this same historical development of Avodah Zora?

One very major thing I noticed while studying Torah is the fact, that Issac or basically the Jewish covenant started after Abraham was circumcised...Sarah conceived after Abraham got the commandment of circumcision...that's why I feel Yishmeal is not part of the covenant and also the fact that Sarah was Abraham Aivenu soulmate and Hagar was not though she was his wife .....and I think as well as I feel there is a difference between being a wife merely or being a wife as well as a soulmate.

The parable says one chose the Duke, another chose the governor and the third chose the general. The smart person, however, chose the King himself to whom all 3 are subservient. Some people become religious later in life. They realize Hashem is true and Torah is true. But, they also realize that there are many kosher "flavors" of authentic Judaism. which to choose? Some choose the "King", the "Nosi hador" (compare to the Nessiim) about whom all others acknowledge superiority.

Did Hashem choose the soul of a yid, or the neshoma of a yid. When there is a conversion, what "converts" exactly? Surely the soul of the nonjew undergoes a transformation. But, does the body of a nonjew also undergo any change? it seems not. maybe it does but only to Hashem.

We talk about choice. A choice must have 2 or more options. Avraham Avinu had the choice to believe in the idols of his father or realize that Hashem is G-d. In turn, then, Hashem chose Avraham Avinu and his spiritual and physical descendants (excludes Yishmael). on the other hand, Hashem, who is above time, knew in advance of Avraham's eventual choice and therefore chose Avraham and his descendants even before (in our time line) Avraham chose Him.

I first read...
about this - that each tribe brought the same items, but that their intentions by giving these items was different a couple of years ago. Artscroll Chumash goes into great detail about what the tribe of Nachson offered. I;'ve looked for the midrash that goes into detail about what the other tribes intentions were, but can't find it. Does anyone know where to find it?

Beautiful insight --- chosen people are first choosing people who choose HaShem against all odds and pressures of the most paganistic times and human era

The tribe of the 11th day is Asher. Ashrai, "happy are you etc". Happy are parents who had such a son on this day. Happy are the chassidim who have such a leader. Etc etc
