Amalek is chutzpah
Still exists today.

Why would Hamas, a gang of terrorists with a network of tunnels to hide in, attack a country with an air force, a country with sophisticated technology and a superior armed forces, 10 times the population compared to the Hamas terrorists, etc?

It's chutzpah also, after burning abd beheading babies and adults to compared. Of civilian casualties. It's chutzpah to complain that the war might impinge Ramadan when they attacked on Simchas Torah.

Normally a chosson marries his kalla
By GIVING her something of value (and she accepts). She doesn't give him anything.

BUT if he is an "am godol", a very significant person, kiddushin can be effectuated by her GIVING him something if value and kiddushin is effectuate when he accepts.

How can this be? The answer is that he "gives" her something when he allows her to give something to him.

It is somewhat similar when Hashem says "TAKE teruma for ME"

Amalek was first among the goyim
Were there no goyim who fought, did battle and attacked yidden before Amalek?

Rather, just before leaving Mitzrayim, the yidden become a nation. Zeh l'ooma zeh. Perhaps just around the time that the yidden became a nation (for Hashem) Hashem itself created the opposite, the "first" nation to oppose the newly created nation of yidden.
