One of the most powerful and transformative shiurim, maybe the most so far! (coming from someone who's been listening for years and wishes he might call himself a talmid). So deep. I hope to review and process many, many times. Endless thanks to Rabbi YY for bringing us real Chassidus in such a life-changing way.

You only know true goodness when you have touched pure evil...that is what the have in Ukraine!

You only truly understand light by being in true darkness!

A vessel is holy only when being used for the purpose of Gd!

Let's be honest, the reason few get there is because Gd's will is never pleasant!  There are the skunks, the messiness of sin, giving to others, accepting the hatred of Gd from others for doing His will.... No, Gd's will is seldom fun, easy, enjoyable or gratifying---generally it stinks!  Yet, it is so irresistable, regardless of what happens!

Ah, I want to be a Rebbe, not what GD wants me to be.  When there is a king, can you have wants?

When all that matters is the King, nothing else matters, including all prior pains.

Healing of the highest order, perfect and from the expert who created the body and soul and who knows how to fix in a moment of time, that which is broken and wounded!

May we choose the King over and over again, every day!

Do we need to get to therapy for spiritual categories? Because what you're saying goes against how we grew up for years.

Oh to climb up in the lap of the King, and have the King's embrace!

Before the world was created there was only Hashem and His Truth. Then came creation and ultimately many "Is". The ultimate must be to go back to that pre-creation state of only Hashem and His Truth. No more I just like before we each or the world as a whole was created. Creation is only putting the puzzle back together, gathering the sparks, and going back to that pre-creation state.

The soul that sins shall die....you don't have to die to marry GD, just like you don't have to die to marry your spouse!

Pre Pesach example: we may need to give up on a holy stringency or custom, in order to stay calm and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

You really have nothing to offer unless it is from the King....seldom are the characters and their stories of the Text perfectly holy!

We are only useful if it is according to His plan.  Otherwise, it is just religion.

Avrahan Avinu, in passing the ultimate by test by agreeing to sacrifice his spiritual and physical heir, was doing what He wanted, NOT what Avraham wanted nor what he understood

"I don't want you gan eden, I only want you". Yet, that is still what I want. Better to want what He wants. "Ask not what you want, but what the other wants".

If a child thinks he can understand whatever the parent says or thinks, obviously the child is delusional. Rather, a smart child should realize that the parent understands more than the child and therefore obeys the parent. Compared to Hashem and His will and wisdom as found in the Torah, we should realize that, similarly, we cannot begin to comprehend what Hashem thinks or what He determines is good for us.

Emunah alone can only understand what a human mind can understand. But, with emunah one can transcend understanding and grasp that which mere understanding cannot grasp.
