The Four Questions in the Kabbalah

A Four-Step Program toward Personal Liberation

1 hr 21 min

Class Summary:

The "four questions" we ask at the seder represent a four step program toward inner liberation. Step 1: Willingness to change. Step 2: Transcending a false sense of self. Step 3: Tuning in to the anguish of the soul. Step 4: Allowing the liberated soul to permeate our existence.

I came across a Maare Makom that fits nicely into the theme of this essay. In Toras Menachem 5712 (pg. 112 and 122) the Rebbe explains the idea of leaning and why it corresponds to Atzilus. Leaning is complete Bittul (Similar to השתחווה) whereas sitting is only Bittul Hayesh.

Has this story about the Baal Hatanya been verified? I see the story written up here in Sichat Hashavua: http://www.chabad.org.il/Ma...
There the man is given a name: Shlomo Feigin. Do we have a record of Feigin being a minister of transportation? Did he change his name? It is an amazing story, but I want more.
