Thanks for the class - love listeneing to all your shiurim. Just one question for the Rabbi - why only the "temieim" had to show they want to do the mitzva and not anyone else, why is it given to all without us showing an intrest in it but when it comes to the temeim they have to show an intrest in it? The same question is in regards to "yerusha" and the bnos tzlafchud?

Great question; I would say that these were deeper souls who needed to "fight" in a deeper way for truth and thus become mentors and teachers for all those in the world searching for the inner light.
