Plagiarism of Harvard President and How We Make Believe Our Energy is Our Own

When We Shine the Light on the Inner Fakeness, We Unburden It from the Need to Cover Up

1 hr 19 min

Class Summary:

This is the fourth of a series of a text-based class on the Chassidic discourse, Basi Legani 5724 (1964), which was said by the Lubavitcher Rebbe 60 years ago at the Farbrengen of Motzei Shabbos Beshalach, 11 Shevat, 5724, January 25, 1964. Rabbi YY Jacobson gave this class on Thursday, 1 Shvat, 5784, January 11, 2024, in Bais Medrash Ohr Chaim, Monsey, NY.

The class explains the process of creation every moment, something from nothing, and how we can perceive the Divine life-force animating and engineering every creature. We discuss how turtles lay their eggs, and how empty space constitutes most of the atom.

We explore the deeper meaning of the words of the Talmud how G-d sustains the horns of the wild ox to the eggs of lice, and how even in the world of “kinim,” where we “plagiarize” the Divine words and misconstrue them as belonging to our ego, the infinite light is fully present, hence there is always home for inner healing and redemption.

The class explains the laws about how nicknames are written in a Get, based on a Maharik, and how it reflects the distortions we can experience in our world.

Use the wooden handle of the ax to chop

Down the forest. Use the lice to destroy the kelpa of Mitzrayim.

That is also the theory behind vaccines, homeopathy

Can't "yesh" have experience of "aiyn".  Since we are created "b'zelem El'" there is a place within which gives us access to "aiyn"

Hashem is always "alone" in this moshel.  Even though we exist, we exist in "His" imagination, as if we could say.

so if we are in HIS imagination, do we stop to exist when HE stops imagining? Very difficult to grasp this abstract concept.

There is "yesh m'ayin" and "yesh m'yesh"

I.e. something from nothing and something from something.  Only Hashem can do yesh m'ayin.  We just make stuff from stuff, yesh m'yesh.

Everything was created yesh m'ayin EXCEPT ONE THING!! THAT IS HUMANS!

Hashem took dirt that was already created (yesh) to fashion Adam. (Neshama later blown in). It would seem that therefore we are "lower".
