  Breaking of vessels and scattering if Schechina after the churban

  Was the scattering of the Schechina into the shuls around the world for all time, waiting to be United with the building of the Third Beis Hamigdash, similar to the breaking of the vessels and scattering of the sparks?

  Mosaic or melting pot?

  It was said that Canada is a Mosaic or different immigrant groups, cultures, religions, nationalities, etc. When looking at a Mosaic from far, like Ari Halberstam's a"H face on the Jewish children's museum, one sees his face clearly. But close up each picture retains it's unique individuality. That's a Mosaic. 

   On the other hand it is said that America is a melting pot. Each individual and group is to give up it's individuality and blend in. Like the sugar and flour in the cake. 

    A mosaic of a word is where each letter retains it's individuality but the synergustic effect is to create a whole greater than the sum of it's parts. A word is far more than the individual letters. So too with a sentence, a paragraph, a chapter, a book. 

    So we say a word is a mosaic not a melting pot.

    Ironically in our context, " Mosaic" also means coming from Moshe Rabbeinu!

  Each letter gives up it's individuality to be part of and build a greater entity, a word

  Sugar is fine and oil and flour also. But taste each by itself? However when expertly blended into a cake, no one is sorry. The sugar received a great elevation by being joined with other ingredients .

    So too with individual letters. 

    It was said that the closer one gets to Elokus, the more bittul and achdus 

  .  Perhaps bittul and achdus are two sides of the same coin. 

     An accidental drop of milk in the cholent that is more than 1/60 remains it's own metzius and treifs up the cholent. But, if less than 1/60th I'd is nullified to the greater entity , and achdus and bittul go together hand in hand. A cup of water tossed into the ocean is both instantly bittul and achdus of the waters achieved

  The whole shattered into pieces

  And didn't we hear recently that the entirety of the schechina at the Beis Hamigdash also scattered into pieces with the churban and those pieces came to each shul?

  The moshel about a word broken into  letters can apply to any complex item like a body.  Hashem first made the kelim and than "shattered," them into components. People take components and create a complex object. E.g. a car. Scientists take the complex items Hashem has made and break it down to see what it's all about.
