    Rashi:

Even A Ratzon from klal yisrael- like the Baal Hatanya because they felt that love and conncetion.

The traditional view of the mountain over our heads

Was that it was (negative) type force. "Accept or this is your burial place".

But the traditional view also says that Hashem married the yidden then. The Torah and the luchos were  the ketuba. Hashem was the  chossan waiting for  us. We were  the kalla coming to  him.

Is it not so then that the overturned mountain was the chuppa canopy? That's a very light item and causes no harm if dropped onto someone.  If the chossan puts up the canopy, and waits for  the  kalla, and if, chv"S, she doesn't show or refuses, he simply lowers the  canopy back down. The canopy was never a  negative forceful coercion, but only a part of  the ceremony.

    1. Any naseh v'nishma before Mattan Torah? 2. 3 types of force 3. We are like the Rebbe at times

    1. The yidden said "naaseh v'nishma" at Har Sinai. Fine. Waa there any of this before then? Did Adam have it? Doesn't look like it. The Avos? Yes. Other yidden including the children of  the Avos? Methinks yea also. Yakov"s sons said Shema Yisroel to him.

So perhaps it wasnt the first time.  But it was the first time at that critical juncture when we became a  nation and then passed to us per epigenetics as a yerusha.

    2. Three types of  force.  1. When a kid is forced to go to yeshiva or there will be negative consequences. That's negative force. A stick.  2. When someone goes to  kollel in Ohr Chaim and gets a  stipend. (Besides the regular kollelim, there was one for Shovavim, and there is  even one for learning this Purom!). That's positive force. A carrot. 3. When someone goes to a class day after day at 7 a.m. at Ohr Chaim and learns for 2 hours with no carrot or  stick but just because they  want to, that's "force" as in forced to by their love. Not really force at all but a "tshuka", a yearning, a love, a desire. Like a chosson and  kalla.

And like the yidden under the  overturned mountain or vat.

    3. When parents do something for, expect or demand something for their children for their own good, all parents are like the Fredirker Rebbe not asking Posner cuz they are considered as one with the child. And good kids are like Posner.
