Science fact Correction:
Radio waves are electromagnetic radiation. Visible light is also electromagnetic radiation. The Rabbi said radio is sound that we now have the tech to detect.
The moshol/lesson is still true.
Sound is vibration. What we hear is how air is vibrated. That's why there's no sound in the vacuum of space.

We have an insert in our fireplace. It is a woodstove fitted into the fireplace. It burns woods 24 hours a day. We regularly stoke it – poke the coals a bit and add more wood. It gives out a steady, consistent heat creating a very warm atmosphere. It takes work of several steps yet is very much worth it. Using the gas forced air is much different. It goes on and off so the house gets warm then cools then warms then cools. All one needs to do to change the setting is stand up and walk a few steps and press a button. A much different experience – in my humble opinion the work put into the woodstove heat is beneficial.

What does this say for our own ability for efficacy in teaching and inspiring if even at matan torah Hashem had two complete different responses… the most obvious difference is where they each came from. But we have no control over where we come from.

"I don't have energy, therefore I don't have time"
We all have 24 hours a day, 6 days a week.
When a person says I have no energy or time for X, he is really saying that X is not a priority for him. The rest is a terutz

I wonder if this is what they felt about each other in the concentration camps after days of ending labor and little to no food! Are you sure your judgment is correct. Not everyone lives a pampered life!
