    The erev rav were Egytians who worshipped physical

    Things like a sheep or the Nile. The yidden however had a menorah to worship the intangible Hashem. So the erev rav had Moshe until he went missing. TThen they wanted a physical replacement. Not so the yidden.

    Imho, the erev rav given a bad rap

    Remember 80% of yidden didn't want to leave Mitzrayim and we know what happened to them. The erev rav DID want to leave after all, Superior to the 80%.

    Was the miracle that we were able to see sounds, or

    That seeing sounds is always possible, even natural, but we were given the receptors to see the sounds. I.e. was the miracle in the emanation of the sounds, or that we were given miraculous reception?
