in the shiur was explained that the meaning of "balaila haze" is that although it is night' you can still sense godliness.
does that fit with the rebbe's explanation in the maamar "balaila hahu" 5765 that the meaning of balaila haze is that there is darkness," hester", but you are at least aware that it is darkness ("ZE"). the meaning of "laila hahu" is double העלם. that you are not even aware and concious that you live in darkness.??

I don’t see why not. I as rule always say that ‘correlation is always simplification’ and that learning is about seeing the differences between things, rather than their similarities.
