  That: 1) God wants different things from different people; 2) We have different pathways to God. In the worst of situations, we not only can have some relationship with God, but in some aspects the most direct honest and simple relationship as well.
  
  This is the lesson of Mode Ani. But I think we’d all agree it’s time to get out of bed (move past the mode Ani, notwithstanding its’ ma’ala) and have Moshiach now!
