you're only 15? you sound very intelligent, all the answers u gave on this page are brilliant.
you are gay, u think males are superior which maybe they are according to the Torah, you think Mashiach isn't coming, chas veshalom, but you seem to know Torah so well. hmmm
Reply to this comment.Flag this comment.
Sam P -2 years ago
I don't think males are superior, because they are not.
It's because I know the Torah well that I know that there is no hero riding up in the sunset coming to save us, or any other claims in the torah. The contradictions, hate and repressivness in the torah, and many other seforim, should be enough to turn anyone who reads it properly into an athiest.

duvid -3 months ago
i dont know y you are so stupid thinking. yes! there is contradictions. but there is also so many proof that the toreh is devine like the skiping letters etc. and if judasium is just another religioun is athieism twice!

1. I waned to express my gratitude to you, for providing a platform for "all topics Yiddishkait" to listen to when i'm washing the dishes, folding laundry or just driving to work. Your Shiurim are always captivating, and entertaining and i usually end up concluding that this that i need to learn more and open up Seforim like my days in Yeshiva.
2. Thank you for bringing the Rebbes Sichos to places that would not allow it 20 years ago. I love listening to your shiurim that are major Pilpul with sources from all over and then discover the Rebbe brings it all together. (the sub- terrain Beis Hamikdash shiur. i remember being so excited about it, that several weeks later i was in SA and my host had recently listened to it as well, super excited we sat Friday night discussing it till 2 AM).
3. Thank you for making the Satmar to the not yet Religious Jew feel at home with Torah, i envy it and would love to learn those skills as well.
4. The main reason i wanted to email. Your answer about Yom Hatzmaot, was powerful and meaningful and best of all applicable. The fact that its the Rebbes own answer gives it more relevance and weight in light of all the "interpretations" and commentary going around on social media now. From what i have gathered, that 95% of Chabad people dont even know this answer from the Rebbe and many writing bc we see the Rebbe was so loving and pro Israel he must have agreed to celebrating Hey Iyar. My request to you, is that you cut that clip with your explanation and post it separately and maybe even distribute it on Chabad sites and wahtsapp. It would be beneficial and helpful to Chabad and non Chabad all over.
One thing i wanted to add, i recall a "my encounter with the Rebbe" with R. Leible Posner about a conversation his father had with the Rebbe before Yud Shvat in 1948-9, where R Shalom asked the Rebbe for the correct approach to the State etc (Pittsburgh at the time had a very strong Zionist community) and the Rebbe responded the Halacha is clear "shlosha Shavuos etc" however now after the fact its a matter of Pikuach nefesh and saving lives etc. Therefore he finishes that we see the Rebbes approach to the wars, settlements, peace negotiations etc was always that its a matter of Pikuach Nefesh etc.

I am a gay boy and i asked the same question via email. He replied with a long email (which i think is the one he mentiond), which basicly said that you can change (which u proberly know u cant). I had some questions on his proofs, so i replied. He has not responded, and its been over a week.
If you want i can forward you the entire conversation.
btw, this is an artical i found on torah web about homosexuality: https://www.torahweb.org/torah/special/2010/homosexuality.html#_edn6
and Rabbi YY speaking on the radio about it:
http://www.theyeshiva.net/jewish/2336
A major question if u belive in god is: it says that a for gay peson it is yiched to be alone etc. with the same gender. Thus, a bisexuel person or a gay boy (as the torah says men cant be with girls, period) cant be alone with anyone?

The truth hurts :)
On a more sombere note, I'm sorry if I my comments are hurtfull.
I am on this wensite beacuse I had a filter on the computer I was using and its hard to get past it, so I was bored and stumbled across it. (BTW, I figured out how to get passed many filters. Some filters rebooting in safe mode with networking on Windows stops it from starting up. Adtionaly, booting off an external drive will defiantly get passed any local program. If anyone reading this wants help with that email [email protected] )
I am not confused about either life or Judasium. Judasium is just another religioun, and life is just that: Life.

So belive in your knight in shining armour coming to save the world from life saving things like technolagy and will revert back to the good old days... which in this case will be 2000 years ago, the first time this gods son (oh, sorry, not that) failed to arrive, a trend, unfortuantley for rabbies who have been saying that he will arrvie in our time for a long time, seemimngly continuing.
On what basis do you think that this event has any chance of happning? An inconsitent book written ages ago? Or rabbis trying to hide profits earned from dispiceles donating to tzedokho? or publications by old schitzophriniac men? Choose your pick, they mean the same to me.

Shulim -4 years ago
It’s true that these are complex questions. Much has been written on these topics, but it would be hard to find satisfying answers unless you address the underlying issue.
For me personally, it’s difficult to feel real trust in others, including G-d, which leads to a need to figure everything out. The more I resolve my trust issue, the more patience I have to learn and to find things out slowly. I don’t stop being intellectually inquisitive – what changes is the reason why I seek knowledge. Is it to control others (including G-d) because I don’t trust them to care about me, or is it to be able to feel greater satisfaction in my own life?
Trust is not something you can just decide in a moment to do, so don't be hard on yourself about this. The more you appreciate your efforts and your limitations, the more your trust feels safe to grow. Plants grow in a warm and sunny environment, not when you yell at them to grow. Also, plants that grew up being yelled at the grow tend to have a harder time trusting, if you know what I mean.
This is very subtle and I won’t claim I expressed it well, but I hope it helps.

You should read the rest:
So, to recap, in the words of the tulmed, a guidbook for morel life: A wommen, if taught torah, will use it, as they have infirior minds, to do what they pine after every day, 'promiscuous behavior', and this is dangarous as they will seek to get into more marriages, which is only allowed to men. They know this, and will do it covertly. They must be protected from such behaviour (as they cant control it, being wommen), and thus cant study torah.
Dont even dare think goysh ideas that prehaps wommen are somewhat equel to men.

Hi Rabbi Jacobson,
Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us.
I've been struggling with lack of self confidence and caring about what people think of me. How do I get out of that mindset and just enjoy life?
How do I know that I'm doing my best in Yiddishkeit? On the one hand, when I do more I feel more connected to Hashem but it's hard to be consistent. Sometimes I'm not motivated at all. How do I push myself even when I don't feel like it?

Hi Rabbi, I had 2 questions they dont need to be discussed on the show unless you hold it will benefit others. NUMBER ONE HOW DO we control our taivos especially now when we are stuck at home and theres nothing to do but the internet (and of course watch your q and a's!).
also how should a "struggling" teen keep himself from getting depressed, I know you spoke about it on the last qand a with teens but i need more support.

Firstly I must thank you for all the wonderful chizuk you have injecting all of klal yisrael literally from young to old daily during these trying times! I live in a wonderful neighborhood with a very chushive Rav he is a big talmid Chacham and people all over hold him in very high esteem as do my husband and I. However he has had minyanim on his porch although they are not as crowded as his shul is there definitely is not 6ft between each person. This is mind boggling to most of our neighborhood and people dont know what to think. How can a huge talmid chacham and yari shamayim who so many people look to as an example simply ignore the advice of most rabbonim and drs.?!?! What are we as his followers supposed to think?

I think it it so easy to see very respected ppl, especially big rabonim do things and feel we are too little to question them, even respectfully. However when we see they do things against other rabonims rulings, we need to have courage to question, respectfully of course, and even more so when lives are at risk. Hatzlocho

Dear Rabbi YY, we had a question and wondered if you could help us.
Everyone around us is looking forward to moshiach and we also pray that he should come every day, but we often wonder wether we really will be so happy.
We are b"h so happy and comfortable with our life, so why do we want the geulah? Will we be able to watch the same movies, read the same books, go swimming and shoping and celebrate weddings? Will we be able to enjoy life the same way? We will be so holy and will not be able to make mistakes! Thanks for everything, me and my friend!

(What is choosing to write this?)

Shaar Hayichud Vha'emuna
In the Baal HaTanya's Shaar Hayichud Vha'emunah we learn that everything is in essence Godliness. What is different about a Nefesh Elokis that makes it a chalek Elokah Me'maal?
What is our consciousness? Is it the animal soul? What is it that chooses which soul/inclination to follow?
What do we keep of our identities when we are nullified and absorbed in G-d, returning the soul to its source? Does the multiplicity of our distinct personalities actually exist, or are we all really the same being in the simple Unity of G-d?
I am aware that this is a lengthy topic with 12 chapters and many series of sefarim written on this topic. But If a form of answer could be given in the time available I would appreciate it. These questions burn in my mind.

Women's pics
I've been seeing alot of women especially on social media protesting that magazines don't show women or their faces are blured etc I'm wondering if this is an added guideline, halacha or something totally unnecessary. What is wrong with a women whose tznius face? I understand women and men are supposed to be separate but a this just a pic. Are men not aloud to see a women?

women's role
I feel like woman are like servants to their husbands we do their laundry, serve them meals, clean the house… and many of us even work to support them. I am single but thinking about it gets me very upset. Why is it that we get to do like the dirty work and they get to do the more honored jobs, why are we like second class citizens???
I would really love to understand this a bit better.
Thank you so much for doing this program, and for all the amazing classes you give!!!!
I feel like woman are like servants to their husbands we do their laundry, serve them meals, clean the house… and many of us even work to support them ( so we can’t say that they take care of supporting the family so that’s why we have to do the home work…). I am single but thinking about it gets me very upset. Why is it that we get to do like the dirty work and they get to do the more honored jobs, why are we like second class citizens???
But I do want to tell you that I hate when people start saying oh so a woman is the akeres habbais and in the zechus of the woman we were taken out of galus and all the other nice stuff we can try to find in the torah about woman (mostly everything is about the men, but we we have to try to find the parts that are about woman…)… I’ts very nice to go find nice stuff about woman but the truth of the matter is that the men are the main and we are like the one who stands behind them. BUT I WANT TO BE THE MAIN!!!! Im not interested in the fact that behind a great man is a woman I want to be a great women!!!
Thank you so much for all your amazing speeches!!!!! It’s very hard for me to find a speaker that I like because I think very deeply and get very upset when stuff don’t make sense, but your speeches are just amazing and over and over I love them and agree with everything!!!!
May hashem bless you with everything good, just how you help everyone that stuff should be good by them!!!
