  There is a similar shtickle from rav boruch ber (birkas shmuek 27 kiddushin) that it is not a dechiya rather your chiyuv is to learn as much as you can and mitvzos etc does not go into the cheshbon of your chiyuv for that day (being very mekatzer)

  There are seven "Chakras" in the body and they are  major enegy center of the body.

  The seventh Chakra is at the top of the head. It is the conneciton to spirituality and to Heaven. It is calld the Crown Chakra.

  Halacha 6

  Rav Chaim voloshin explains (beerech) that a very high level is to learn that hashem should give schar because that is the good that hashem wants so I am learning in order hashem should give schar and do his ratzon of being a metiv. Perhaps this is why he is mentioning the aspect of schar to hint to this idea. The way to test if this is your real intent is if you would be just as happy if someone else gets the schar.

  Using torah to Make a Living

  Accordiing to e Mishne 10 and 11, How does the Rambam feel about a  Rav of a Shul who has a contract and gets paid by the shul to teach torah? Isn't the Rav using Torah to earn Money? the same question for talmidei chachamim who get paid to give shiurim.
